BTS-S100: FSI Document Standard

The meta-standard for packaging Full Syllable Inventory documents. Every BTS-FSI document, across all Bantu languages, must be structurally identical, comparably licensable, and machine-generatable.

The FSI document meta-standard.

BTS-S100 does not define the syllables of one language. It defines how every published Full Syllable Inventory must be packaged: structure, metadata, numbering, licensing, conformance, appendix grids, and revision history.

Family template
σ = (N)(C)(H)(G)V

Nasal, Consonant, aspiration, Glide, Vowel nucleus. V is always filled.

Scope

Specifies the structure, content, numbering, and presentation requirements for all BTS-FSI documents.

Template

Defines the family template sigma = (N)(C)(H)(G)V: Nasal, Consonant, aspiration, Glide, Vowel nucleus.

Document ID

Requires BTS-FSI-XXX-YYY with ISO 639-3 language code and Guthrie suffix.

Conformance

A non-conformant document shall not be published in the BTS-FSI series or licensed under BantuNomics terms.
